"Nice to meet you two.", Olec said grabbing one of his two bottles of water and giving it to Novak. "You seem thirsty."
Those two seemed to be not very comfortable with the situation so he tried to feed the conversation. When outside a battle, he was always a gentleman.
"Well... Where are you heading to? I'm trying to find some friendly station, where i can stock up my inventory.", he said and enhaled the good smelling smoke of his joint.

The silent one finally spoke, or at least what she could take as talking. It was more like a muffled half moan beneath his mask that she didn’t even bother trying to decipher its meaning. The one that just kept talking seemed to understand him and she was confused by this but didn’t dwell on something like that for long. Maybe he was just faking out of courtesy for him.
Taking a long draw, she reached the end of the life of her cigarette and snuffed it out on the concrete. Rolling her shoulders she twisted her neck, first one way and then the next, hearing slight pops before she rose to her feet.
“I can’t help you there,” A thick Russian accent held her tongue captive as she spoke, “I’m heading to someplace a bit less cozy comfy.”

Water! Splendid fluid of life come to to me. These thoughts ran wild in Novak's mind. When the pair of bottles Olec provided reached his hands he realized he would have to take of his helmet to drink, well most things in live come with a catch.
He put the bottles down for a moment and with both hands he unhooked his helm and laid it at his side, air that was unfiltered entered his lungs after a long trek through an endless Metro maze so he enjoyed it as much as he could, the next enjoyment came from the water he picked up once more and opened, taking in the fluid at the point of guzzling it down but with control as running out so quickly was ill-advised.
He packed it and with his gloved hand ran over his face, he'd grown a beard and had a few aching parts and a new scar or two but other then that he was still the same Novak.
"Much better." He spoke openly, one of the few sentences he could pronounce effectively as he had repeated it several times during various adventures to the point it became his catchphrase.
"Well... Where are you heading to? I'm trying to find some friendly station, where i can stock up my inventory." Olec said, Novak thought about the fact he came from the opposite direction of Olec and that would mean friendly stations were either close and simply missed or they were in the middle of nowhere.
Ruslana spoke “I can’t help you there,” with a heavy Russian voice, “I’m heading to someplace a bit less cozy comfy.”
Sounded like an adventure, maybe she needed help? There was also the strength in numbers thing so it didn't seem like a the bad thing to do, even though he would prefer if he could rest at a hospitable place for just a few moments before moving onto yet another quest.

Olec just had smile a bit as Novak drank his water as if he had seen nothing but dry dirt all his life.
“I can’t help you there. I’m heading to someplace a bit less cozy comfy.”, said Ruslana and as Olec noticed Novak's look, he knew that this armored soldier would follow.
"Let's go together, then. In a group we are stronger and not an easy prey.", Olec said throwing his burnt out joint on the ground.

She glowered at his offer for a moment, her eyes darkening as she took in the possibility of having to travel with men. What she knew of men, other than her father, was that they were sneaky and vile, out to get someone that they perceived as the weaker sex. Obviously, she had the bare minimum of encounters.
Yet, he was right in that it would be easier to go as a group. Her eyes drifted off, gazing contemplatively at a network of cracks in the concrete. This softened her gaze for a moment before she drifted over to the revealed face of the silent one.
“Eh,” she said, “Did you see the way he drank that water? It’ll take a day for him to recuperate at least. It’d be no use to leave right now.”
She mulled it over for a moment, “If you insist, then we’ll take a day’s rest, any idea where to bed down?” Her own little hovel popped into her mind but she wasn’t about to lead them there.

Radek was screaming. In almost pitch darkness with just a faint orange glow above and behind him spraying the room. The rays chopping over and over as the old fan that fed air into the room slowly rotated from the little power left on by some ancient generator. Radek was still screaming as a sharp pain bit his arm, tearing off the leather guard he had. He reacted as trained, swinging his deadly, serrated knife toward the same direction and hitting flesh with a satisfying squeal reaching his ears.
"Ha! How does it taste you dirty little bastard!?" he bellowed. The snarling continued around him as the Nossalises paced about, waiting for any opening. As he squirmed, trying once again to free his legs from the great stone block that held him captive, Radek let out a primal scream of pure fury. All the while he was trying to free himself and fending off the nightmarish beasts, water had just reached enough to submerge his entire hand if he placed it on the floor. Another yell went out as he punched the block, thrashing the knife around wildly to make any nearby Nossalises who had thought about trying their luck, back off. As he did so however, he caught the trigger on the Makarov at the back of his waistline which was trapped under Radek's inability to move. It went off with a bang that echoed through the small room, out past the metal corridor and onto god-only knows where.
He had just shot himself in the arse. This was not how a proud, trained member of the Reich was meant to die; fending off dirty beasts in a slowly flooding room, trapped beneath a great stone block and with a bullet in the buttocks. It was undignified!
Radek realized he had no choice, he screamed as the bullet bit into him. "AAAAAGGHHHH HELP ME!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, praying the tunnels carried his voice out to someone, anyone nearby.

“If you insist, then we’ll take a day’s rest, any idea where to bed down?” Rest, yes rest was good after the journey here, wherever here is. They'd take shifts and for the first time in what felt like a month without sleeping would be a distant memory, the group would go to a friendly station and split up and there Novak would get more rest and resupply.
"AAAAAGGHHHH HELP ME!" Oh hell.
With some laziness he sat for a second, the shout echoed through his mind and then he remembered that his lifelong mision was to help people. Some mission.
Novak pulled himself up and looked into the direction from whence the sound came, it was nearby. Likely attached to the station itself. He put on his helmet and tucked his rifle firmly into his hands, the M21 Zastava was probably the only one of its kind in the Metro, Novak must have also been the only one of his kind in the Metro.
Нема веѕе
Switching on the nightvision he moved towards the direction of the shout, a struggle between steel and flesh permeated from a room at the end of the station. It was the controller's office.

Whereas Novak’s reaction was slow, Ruslana’s was fast. She had her pack on, her axe in hand, and was turning away from the noise. She had no lifelong mission of protecting others and would have likely left the screamer for help, calling him a pansy all the way. Yet when Novak placed his helmet on and turned towards it, she knew that she couldn’t leave yet. That armor was just too cool, heck if she stuck around she might be able to figure out how she could get her hands on some. That or he’d die and she could filtch it.
Fine, she’d save the screaming pansy if it meant being able to wear that cool helmet at some point in her life. Although she didn’t say anything, she leaped off the edge and headed towards it now. There was a bang as her feet began to pound against the floor.
He was pretty near, she knew this when she practically ran into the Nossalis. Luckily, she was prepared and deflty hacked away at the thing before it knew what was happening. With her thumb, she caught her hood and pulled it up over her head as she swung her axe, one handed, at another one. She wasn’t so lucky this time as a one handed swing was a lot weaker than a two handed one and the beast knocked it aside, tackling her to the ground.
“Well, fuck,” she hissed into its face and snarled like an animal, water seeping into her clothing as she rolled with it, trying her best not to get bit as she beat her fists against the beast. The rest seemed to be just figuring out that something was attacking them and turned their attention away, at least for a few moments.

Olec wasn't sure if he should run right up there or just leave. He waited untill the other two made the decition for him. He just loved watching emotions running over a humans face. Not the common ones like happiness or anger. He loved watching the little ones, nearly invisible for the untrained eye. The emotions that people try to hide down here in the dark depths of the metro. Ruslana seemed to be very cold. She didn't want to help that guy. But what about Novak? He must be some kind of pure hearted knight or something. He didn't take too long to run in the direction the scream sounded from. Ruslana followed him. Seemed like she thought we wouldn't help him... A cold girl. Maybe she had a bad childhood or something like that. Maybe she was dissapointed quite often... He ran after them.
As he arrived at the slowly flooding room he saw Ruslana wrestling with a Nosalis. Olec already prepared his Makarov while running so he aimed at the head of that beast and shot. He shot four times to be sure that thing wouldn't move anymore. He kicked it off her, took his skorpion and started shooting at the other Nosalis.
"Get up, girl!", he yelled. "It's time to show those heavily deformed bastards who's boss in here!"
He always hated how those beasts looked. It reminded him of the fact that the world he knew had died long ago. "This new world sucks...", he thought while placing some bullets in the head of a nosalis, that was jumping in his direction to eat his face just right off his skull. He stepped aside and the nosalis hit the ground behind him. It was dead before it passed him...

Radek covered his eyes for a moment as he and the Nossalis' where distracted by the sudden explosion of light from the door-frame. He understood a split second before the Noasslis' and let out a yell in the most authorative tone he could muster with a bullet nestling itself in the fat of his buttocks.
"Kill these sukas!" With that, Radek swung a knife over toward a Nossasli, catching it's hind leg and dragging it closer in a single swift move, lifting the knife out and repeatedly thrusting it into the black beast. By now the Nossalis' where aware and counter-attacking, Radek took a few painful hits to the torso, screaming aloud when he felt teeth sink into his belly.
With a cough, Radek dropped the knife as his vision became blurred. He collapsed forward onto the stone, coughing up an unhealthy spatter of blood, muttering as he lost consiousness with a bitter groan. His heart kept beating, but his mind let go. And the Nossalis' turned their attention to more immediate threats.

Novak fired at the Nosalis's, not losing his cool in burst fire. Dropping some of them. Then he noticed the person who must have screamed for help drop.
His other two, barely willing, companions could hold off the Nosalis's, He would provide aid to the fallen, first aid that is. He was lucky to have bought it from Olec and not Ruslana, the somewhat cold-hearted women of stone. Not that Novak didn't like potentially dangerous women.
To the sound of gunshots and growls of mutants he took out the orange medical kit and took out a needle filled with healthy things that would keep the fallen alive for just a few more moments.
Novak grabbed him by the arm and ripped off a part of the man's trench coat and injected the fluids into his bloodstream.

Ruslana, the obviously cold hearted woman apparently, swung her axe hard into one of them, splattering blood and taking it out with one hit. That was the advantaged of an axe, if you hit it once in the right place it would be downed for the fight. They were beginning to thin out as it wasn’t a very big room in the first place, and she had time enough to also run to the man’s side.
She let out a harsh whistle between her teeth and her axe clinked hard against her backpack as she moved over to the stone. It was a heavy stone but from his position underneath it, it was impossible to move, where as she would be able to.
Not asking for cover, as she assumed they would provide it, she rubbed her hands together before gripping the rock and rolling it off of his leg. Well, at least that worked. Feeling teeth in her arm, she reached for her axe but a spurt of gunshot felled the beast before she could. Still continuing to grab her axe though, she moved back into the fray.

Once the medical serums were injected Novak returned to the fight, a Nosalis stared directly at him when he turned around to face the thinned horde. It growled, Novak growled back. It leapt and jumped at Novak.
His rifle would take to long to bring up, his pistol then? Knife?
The Nosalis drew closer...
When suddenly an axe cleaved the beast and downed it, head was removed from carcass. Immediately scolding himself for his slow behaviour in his tongue, if he was dead he'd put great shame to his family's warrior legacy.
Luckily there were still a few Nosalises which he proceeded to exterminate along with the rest, in a rage aimed at himself.
