I'm fairly excited for this game myself. Pre-ordered it a few months ago and played the demo back in... October? Eh, it was a while ago that's for sure. In any lines it looks like a good time xD.

I am super excited for this game now, just one month! Well... more like 3 weeks...
And the soundtrack is so epic! I'm glad games these days are taking time to create such immerisve and pretty music... Classical guitar is the way to go, my friends. In STALKER and Metro 2033 i used to just sit down by the fire and listen.

The main character reminds me of Viggo Mortinsen in 'The Road' it also looks to have the same kind of vibe as well, which should be interesting. Unfortunately, I'm still saving up for Last Light, so i'll end up getting the last of us next year. But it does look amazing; naughty dog have always been good at making great looking games with great atmosphere and a great cast - this will be a test whether they can add proper depth.

He gave me that same vibe too, man! The Road is a great movie and book.

Yeah, Viggo Mortinsen is a brilliant actor, and the road is one of my favourite movies, incredibly depressing though. I wonder of the last of us will be able to invoke the same feelings and atmosphere.

MINOR SPOILERS BELOW: Ok... I just finished the game.... The end blew my mind. I am demanding more! The writer, Druckmann, has stated there may be a sequel but it probably wont feature Joel and Ellie... which saddens me. I really want to see how their story will play out in the future... They left quite a cliffhanger at the end lol And get this my fellow Metro-dwellers! The Last of Us apocalypse is set 20 years later from current time... so, technically the year is 2033 lol be so cool if this was the result of the world-wide war in the usa. The Americans face a fungal epidemic that they promptly blame on foreign countries for biological warfare, particularly Russia. Then Russia is nuked and reduced to rubble, making the survivors delve underground. So awesome! Wish that was real canon...

I've been playing this a lot over the last few days as well! And I agree that it is pretty much amazing! I'm having a hard time finding any flaws that are anything more than superficial. Those 'clickers' give me the creeps... I enjoy the dynamic of the main characters a lot and I'm in love with Ellies personality lol. The girl just makes me laugh. And my heart broke for Joel (call me a silly female if you must ) on a continuous basis. But all in all I thought it one of the better survival/horrors I've played in a long time and any fan of the Post Apoc genre should check it out.

Indeed. I absolutely love that the clickers aren't considered zombies... because they aren't, they're just infected people! Definitely puts things into a more realistic light and really makes you see that you are killing people whose minds have been merely taken over.
And yeah... I'd have a bromance with Joel any day. Lol, i have concluded that if I ever have a son, his name would be Joel. Best name ever for me. And better yet, he's from Texas! Just like me! \ [- O -] / Don't mess with Texas, ya'll
Ellie's pretty awesome... she creepily reminds me of Ellen Paige from Juno... Maybe one of my fav leading female roles in video games next to Elizabeth from Bioshock and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider.
