Aleks was born in the port town of Dubna, north from Moscow. His father was a business man who dealt with big corporations in which Aleks was never involved. His mother was a nurse who worked in the hospital where the Jugans had their only child. Aleks's father was always away, and because his mother worked a full time job, Aleks was forced to live with his grandparents. His grandparents lived south from Dubna in Moscow.
Aleks enjoyed his life in Moscow he was always had what he needed and was well fed. He never enjoyed school, he learned more from programs on TV and in books than the slow teachers could ever teach him. So after the seventh grade he secretly dropped out and got a job on a farm on the western outskirts of Moscow. His job did not pay well, he saved for months before he was able to buy a shitty handgun and one clip. Aleks was going to do something drastic, but soon, the war would hit home.
At fifteen Aleks had been fed up with his job, he was as tall and strong as any other man but was tired of his boss paying him shit wages because he was young. On that fateful day, Aleks packed his gun, a mask, and some gloves in a bag. He had decided he was going to rob an old sad grocery store. Aleks was on his way to the store when the alarms rang through the city. On the news they had talked of some political battles in the UN and a war, Aleks had not cared, but there was a nuclear attack plan. They had instructed citizens that in the event of war they would orderly enter the metro where food and supplies waiting. Unfortunately there was no order, Aleks dropped his bag in panic and ran like everyone else.
Years went by. Aleks cleaned the station and did anything for money and food. He was a lonely man after the war. He sparsely talked to other people if it were not for something important like work. He was constantly harassed by guards beaten for his solitude and arrogance towards knowledge about anything outside the station. One day, over the intercom it was announced that the stations farm needed hands to work. Aleks jumped on the offer, he was the first man there. The first thing the guardsman told him was that it wouldn't pay much. But Aleks had never cared about how much it payed as long as it did. He took the Job.
The next man to show up was a man who would change Aleks' life forever. He went by Richtor. A polite man, the opposite of Aleks in that he was talkative and more outgoing. He introduced himself immediately, agreeing to do the job. At first Aleks and Richtor were the only men there. Aleks collecting wheat and Richtor pulling weeds. Soon more men showed up, looking for pay. Richtor's talkative spirit eventually broke through to Aleks and they talked. They finished their work and were payed. Soon after there was an emergency drill and they went separate way for awhile.
Aleks returned to his regular sulking around the station. He spent hours walking a pondering what his next job would be. He went home and slept for awhile. He woke up and the though finally occurred to him. With the bullets he had earned he could finally buy the gun he wanted. He made way for the traders bar. He stood in line waiting for around forty minutes. Just as it was his turn, Richtor appeared out of the crowd. He pulled Aleks aside asking why he was there. Aleks explained to him that he had finally saved enough bullets to buy the gun he wanted. Richtor took him told Aleks he had a gift for him, and pulled him away from the crowd.
Aleks and Richtor were standing away from the crowd. Richtor dug deep into his backpack. He pulled out a handgun and a MAGAZINE, he then handed them to Aleks. He had just given Aleks more than just a gun. Richtor had just given Aleks freedom. Aleks could now leave the station and go to the surrounding areas safely. Richtor had given everything Aleks had ever wished for after the war. Richtor asked if Aleks had ever shot a gun before, Aleks lied and said yes. Aleks assumed it would be no harder than how it was in the old movies. They went their separate ways again with Aleks vowing to repay Richtor over everything else.
They would cross paths again with Aleks noticing the Station doors open. Aleks walked out seeing Richtor, another man with a gun, and a nosalis. Aleks rushed out and helped fend the Nosalis off. After the fight a Ranger showed up and asked if we were leaving and they explained what happened. Richtor expressed how he wished to head out and look for scrap. The ranger explained he would not make it without a gun then remarking there was only trash out there. Aleks showed his gun and told him that he would travel with Richtor. Aleks then asked the other man if he would join, the man who's name was 'Butch' agreed.
They set out into the depths of the metropolitan catacombs. They traveled finding the "Trash" the ranger had mentioned scattered throughout the Metro. Cans; witch could be melted to make dirty bullets, Bleach; For cleaning, Vegetable oil; For cooking, Gas canisters, and cinder blocks were all among the findings. They were about to head back when they noticed something odd ahead. They traveled forth.
They would find what appeared to be an abandoned military outpost. It wasn't obvious at first. There was a big rusted airlock. It was easily kicked in and they entered. The entire roof of the complex, which resided under a warehouse according to a map on the wall, was blown off. Aleks looked up an saw the grey burned winter sky. From that moment Aleks decided he wanted to be a Stalker. He wanted to see more. He wanted to see the dead city for himself. While they were watching the clouds roll past a nosalis nearly jumped on Aleks, they all ran out and booked it home.
They returned to their home station and traded the scrap within the group for who it would be most valuable to. 'Butch' revealed to them that he was a bandit. Aleks shared that 'Butch' had plenty of chances to shoot them in the back but didn't. This calmed everyone. Aleks expressed his fatigue and said he was heading to bed. The men parted ways. Aleks had his mind set on going to the surface. To see the old world. To see the sky. He hoped Richtor would come with him, for he and possibly 'Butch' were the only men in the world he could trust.
Weeks would pass before anything would happen again. One day a fat, and obviously rich, man came to the station. He was looking for armed men to guard him on the way to Polis. He was willing to pay, alot. Aleks signed on almost immediately. He boarded a motercar where he would ride for several days switching cars and rail lines. Nearing the end of the journey the "fat man" had to stop and take a piss mid-drive. He felt himself higher than everyone and wanted privacy and walked a bit deeper into a side passage. Soon a scream was heard, Aleks rushed there along with another man. The "fat man" was being eaten alive by a nosalis. Aleks quickly removed his Makerov from his belt and shot the beast three times, one of the bullets landing a lucky headshot. He walked over to the dieing man who was screaming for help and immediately put a bullet the "fat man's" skull. Before the other guard could say anything he was tackled by another nosalis, he dropped his AK-74 in the process. Aleks dove for the weapon immediately putting a burst in the creatures head. The guard shared luck with the "fat man", his thought was ripped open and chocked to death before Aleks could put him out of his misery. Then Aleks heard gunshots from the main tunnel, the rest of the group was being swarmed by nosalises. Aleks turned and took the "fat man's" bullet pouch and through it around his neck and ran for the tunnel. There was no hope, Aleks ran into the tunnel and was lost for days.
Three days later Aleks arrived in the Trubnaya station. He was able to use the Four-hundred bullets looted off the "fat man" to get food, water, ammo, and a new shiny gas mask with some filters. When all was said and done he only had One-hundred and eleven bullets left to spend. Life was beginning to set itself up. He formed a Stalker Guild and regularly visited the surface. He was becoming a more powerful man than ever before.
Preferred weapon(s): AK-74 and Makerov PM
Notes: He has 111 bullets, a suit good for surface visits, and a big backpack.
