Dmitry Glukohovksy has made clear, through several interviews and easter eggs in Metro Last Light, that he will be publishing a book named, well... Metro 2035.
Glukhovsky states that the book will follow the same storyline as the video game Metro Last Light. Personally, I do not particularly fancy this idea and I hope Glukhovsky takes the Last Light story into a new direction. I like the Last Light plot but... compared to the Metro 2033 and 2034 novels, I don't think it quite fits with the book series. The novels were engrossing and all about atmosphere and the world, while the Last Light story is very action oriented and shoot em up style (common and expected of an FPS). Hell, in Metro 2033 Artyom only fired his Kalash a handful of times.
So thus, I am very curious on how Glukhovksy shall adapt the video game plot into his aclaiming book series and what oaths he shall take in the storyline...
Thoughts anyone? Discuss all Metro 2035 novel stuff here!

I'm hoping Glukhovsky won't base 2035's plot on Last Light's, mostly because the latter follows certain elements from Metro 2034. The infection plot was present in Metro 2034, and seeing it reappear in Metro 2035 would just seem repetitive. Not to mention that using Last Light's plot seems like a terrible attempt at turning the novels into a video game marketing ploy.
I have faith in Glukhovsky since so far he's been pretty awesome at keeping Metro fresh and interesting, and I seriously hope he'll do something original for Metro 2035.
