I just played the new DLC for Metro: Last Light and it was spectacular! I did the Red sniper mission first and loved it. I tried the Nazi heavy mission but didn't finish it due to getting frustrated from dying from the Red suppresive fire and lack of bullet proof cover (Ranger mode hardcore ftw.) And now I am currently playing the Ranger mission. This one by far is the best imo, it is free roam, and you start off with hardly any equipment, bringing artifacts from the surface and library in return for compensation.
So, if you guys have played it yet, what do you guys think about it?

I played the factions AND the characters one, for DLC's I thought they could be a little more longer, anyway I bought them during steam sales and they were cheap so I have no regrets. The Ranger mission was weird I couldn't find the gasoline tank because of a glitch it wasn't there, it was the longest and most interesting mission but the fact that I couldn't take all the items frustrated me. The Reich and Red ones, although they were kinda fun, they felt really lazy for me because when you compare them to the main game, you can see a lot of glitches and graphical issues that I never encountered in the adventure of Artyom, the best example was in the Red mission I fell from a building because i ran through a pile of sandbags like a ghost or something. In other words, take the characters pack and enjoy Khan's background which gives a lot of informations about him, not gonna spoil. But don't think they will take 2 hours of your time, they are all really short.

The Faction DLC was a let-down for me. The Reich mission is just too hard and the Sniper mission isn't very exciting. The only good one is Khsatriya, but even then it's too short and doesn't do anything new.
I also tried the Developer's Pack. I honestly can't decide whether it's total shit or pretty good since a lot of it is utterly useless. The Museum is interesting but quickly loses its charm after a few minutes spent gawping at the game's monsters. The Shooting Range is just that: a shooting range. The only good thing about it is that you get to try weapons that were cut from the game. Finally the Arena is a little more interesting, but much like the museum it quickly loses its appeal after a few rounds spent gunning down monsters.
The Pack does include a proper mission though: the Spider Lair. In it you get to play a stalker who has to fight his way out of a bug-infested missile silo. On ranger hardcore it's an extremely difficult and frightening mission (you start off with nothing but your lighter) and makes up for most if the useless crap in the Pack.
Finally I don't see the point of the Tower. The whole virtual reality thing simply doesn't fit the Metro universe at all. Why would they be able to make such an advanced virtual reality program after being blasted off the face of the Earth and having to live in the Metro? The same goes for the Volt Driver, as even with current technology we still can't make a rifle-sized rail gun.
But yeah, fuck the Tower, we want more real Metro stuff!
