Zacheriah took off his mask as he walked through Slomenskaya. He walked up to a bar and took a seat "Zacheriah you old mudak!" the bartender cried out. "What have you been up to? What brings you home?" Zacheriah put a couple bullets on the table and smiled. "Well I HAVE been learning a bit more Russian." he swiftly jabbed across the counter, catching the bartender in the face. "That's for calling me an arsehole for ten years and I'll take a drink. What brings me home is sale of course."

A good scavenge run I must say.
As Kazmier walked into the local bar in Smolenskaya he immediately felt a shower of relief flow over him. It has been a few weeks out in the tunnels and a few days on the surface looking for parts for an order back home in Baumansky. While his trip was successful it was very strenuous and he had a few close calls.
His next thought in his mind was to grab a seat. He eyed the bar, almost empty save for a few patrons and the bartender, the most interesting looking be a man who seemed to be around middle age with a Mohawk and some combat gear. Kaz took his seat a few stools from the middle aged man who was conversing with the bartender.
Slipping his loot-ladened backpack and an additional dufflebag filled with gear on the ground next to his seat, Kaz relaxed onto the hard stool and let loose a sigh of relief.
Slipping into the relaxed atmosphere he picked into the pair to his left's conversation; "What brings me home is sale of course."
Hm, what is this one? A merchant? Sounds like an interesting person to be sure, but first a drink is in order.

Zacheriah placed a couple more bullets on the bar as the bartender poured his drink and rubbed the side of his face. "The next drink someone orders is on me. I'm feeling generous today." he said as he cracked his fingers and grasped his own glass, staring at it for a short while before taking a long gulp, savoring it.
"Odd how you always feel generous whenever you return from the surface." the bartender said with a smirk.
Zacheriah's grin grew to a wide smile. "Ah, but of course, why wouldn't I be? As long as my guns are working, my mask doesn't have a hole in it, and I have a couple filters then I can always make more money." he took another gulp and laughed, dropping his voice to a low whisper. "Besides, between you and me I found something worth enough bullets to keep me fed for a good long time."

After a few moments rest he finally decided it was time for a drink. "Hey barkeep, can I get a whiskey over here?"
While he waited he wanted to double check his gear to make sure he had enough of everything. Filters, check. Ammo, need some more. Water, running low. Food, check.
Finally the barman walked over to him with a short glass of whiskey and said, "No need to pay, the guy over there has you covered." Kazmier shrugged and pocketed his bullets.
He turned to the man sitting to his left and said, "Hey thanks man, I'm Kazmier."

Zacheriah turned his head and raised his glass, nodding his head. "Pleasure to meet you Kazmier. My name is Zacheriah." he watched as Kazmier's drink was poured and grinned. "Whiskey drinker as well? A trait I apparently inherited from my mother's side of the family."
He laughed, his father had always said his mother's parents were a bunch of bootlegging rednecks. His mother was a diamond in the rough though or, as his father said, a shiny in the grudu.

The man turned to him and returned in a friendly tone, "Pleasure to meet you Kazmier. My name is Zacheriah." Kaz smiled in return to Zacheriah while he picked up his glass of whiskey and took a deep sip. Ahh, It's been too long since I've had a proper drink.
After a moment Zacheriah said "Whiskey drinker as well? A trait I apparently inherited from my mother's side of the family," he finished his sentence with a laugh, most likely a story behind that one.
"Yes indeed, beer and the other alcohol is too weak, I'm not a heavy drinker but whiskey suits me. It gives me a deep sense of relief and feels like it burns through my body, cleaning it or some bullshit like that!" Kaz broke into a laugh for a few moments.
"So, what brings you to this part of the Metro?"

Zacheriah let out a loud boisterous laugh and took a drink from his glass. "Indeed!" he proclaimed loudly "The burn of whiskey is a cleansing fire that burns through the falseness of heart, soul, and mind leaving only the simple and pure truth of ourselves."
He waggled his eyebrows at Kazmier and shrugged. "I used to call this part of the Metro home until a few years ago. Now my home is the abandoned tunnels that lead to the surface." he laughs "What brings me back is a need to sell off my surface goods. I figured I would give the traders I used to guard first pick."

Kazmier sipped at his glass while he listened to the stalker, "What brings me back is a need to sell off my surface goods. I figured I would give the traders I used to guard first pick."
Kazmier thought of a business opportunity, "What do you have? You see, I am from the Baumansky Alliance, and was just returning from a three week trip on the surface and in the tunnels looking for some particular tech that was needed by the techies back home. If you have anything of the like, maybe we could have a little transaction."

Zacheriah pondered and drummed his fingers on the bar. "As far as tech goes I don't have much. Batteries and automotive spark plugs in a few different varieties along with a small coil of solder wire."
He took a long gulp and grinned "So if any of those items interest you or you know a sort've fat cat interested in a bit of luxury then by all means we can make a little transaction."
