God I hate Reds
Captain Aleksander Novikov repeated this line in his head as he watched the interrogation of a captured Red Line spy. This man was detained by the guards when he was found snooping around the exterior guard post of Tverskaya.
The man denied being a spy, but the evidence was found when they ripped off his jacket to find an identification card, labeling him as Petr Avdeyev, a sergeant for the Red Line. His lies began to die off as the head interrogator Oberleutnant Densiov ordered for the mace to be brought in.
So much for that "Loyalty till death" thing the Reds yap about.
"Please, I will talk, just don't kill me!" cried the detainee, the Oberleutnant cracked a smirk and told the executioner to stand down. The Oberleutnant glanced to Novikov and said, "Hauptmann Novikov, care to proceed with the questioning?"
Aleksander nodded and walked forward from the back of the cell to infront of the spy. "What was your mission?"
"T- to observe the def- defense- defenses of Tverskaya, my superiors were planning for an assault on the Reich stations."
Novikov nodded and asked another question, "We're any other scouts sent?"
The prisoner spoke "Ye- yes, two others. They were sent from Lubyanka as I was, but went through the ancient undercity, to look for any weaknesses."
Aleks smiled and said, "Thank you, that is all. Oberleutnant, you may continue if you wish, I am done here." Aleksander turned his heel and walked out of the room leaving the prisoner with the Oberleutnant and his viscous lackies.
That went easier than I expected.

Commandant Kovalenko walked briskly through the halls of the station. His gaze was determined and strong, his pale eyes observing what was ahead. His men at Tverskaya had captured a Red scout, and the Commandant was required to be there.
I hope Densiov is giving him a good beating... he thought.
Right as he turned a corner, he spotted one of his officers standing idle by the interrogation room.
"Captain Novikov!" he'd say and stride towards him, expecting a salute in return.
"Do you have a report on this Red scum? What was his purpose?" he asked, staring steadily to the Captain.

Aleks was taking a moment to watch Densiov work his magic when he heard the Commandant, "Captain Novikov! Do you have a report on this Red scum? What was his purpose?"
Novikov snapped into a salute and began his report.
"Well sir, this Red was meant to examine the defenses of Tverskaya, and two others were sent underground through the undercity. All from Lubyanka, they were supposed to be massing an attack on our stations."

His eyes widened as he listened to Novikov's reply. Yet another pitiful attempt to assault the Fourth Reich, how pathetic. Sighing he turned away and walked towards the doorway.
"I'll be having a little chat with him. Stay here Novikov, you won't be restrained in this station for long."
Walking in, he saw Densiov towering over a bleeding and whimpering man. There was utter silence as the Commandant entered, except for the snapping salute of the interrogater. Viktor ignored the man's salute and stepped slowly towards the prisoner.
"So.. a Red spy, eh? Didn't think your kind were gutsy enough to come this far," he said, stopping three feet away, "But you... are clearly a special specimen."
He grinned and watched the Red, letting his words sink in. The man merely stared in an attempt to remain tough.
Kovalenko then leaned in and spoke venomously, "How big is this army of yours, hmm? How many troops?"
The man remained silent, his eyes darted to and fro. Viktor sighed and motioned to the interrogater, "Densiov."
The skinhead smirked and landed a good blow with his mace on the shoulder. The Red screamed, his bones cracking... most likely dislocating his arm.
"Ok ok! I'll talk!"
The Commandants brow raised, "I'm listening."
"Th-the assault was g-going to be 50 men strong, w-with an armoured cart and everything. Those scouts I spoke of earlier... they were m-meant to plant bombs beneath the Reich statons, f-f-forcing your structure to collapse."
Viktor's lips contorted, he paused before speaking, "Thank you very much for your cooperation." He produced a mock smile and turned to Densiov. "Please continue with your fun. But I want his head on a pike displayed in the tunnel for all the approaching armies to see. They'll know not to deal with the might of the Fuhrer ever again!"
The prisoner yelled protests, Densiov grinned maniacally, "As you wish, Commandant."
Kovalenko then nodded before exiting, closing the doors to drown out the sounds of the man's mace and the prisoner's piercing screams. Viktor by Novikov, sighing once more and beginning to light a cigarette. His mood was as calm as ever.

After the Commandant's brief time in the cell, he came out and lit cigarette, seeming calm as he always was.
After hearing a shriek from within the cell, Aleks slightly flinched, out of habit. "Erm, so Commandant, were you able to get more out of him?"
Feeling slightly stressed, Novikov lit a cigarette of his own and inhaled deeply, feeling a little more at ease.

"Erm, so Commandant, were you able to get more out of him?"
Viktor exhaled a wispy trail of smoke before answering, "Those two Reds in the undercity, they weren't just scouts. They plan to bomb the area right beneath our stations. Those damn Communists want us all to run around crazy as pigs before they send a full force on our borders."
With that last phrase, the Nazi threw down his not even half finished cigarette to the ground, crushing it beneath his boot. He motioned to Novikov and walked down the hall, "Come, we have work to do. We're taking a team down in the Catacombs. But not until we bolster our tunnel guards."

The Commandant threw his cigarette away and motioned for Aleks to follow, "Come, we have work to do. We're taking a team down in the Catacombs. But not until we bolster our tunnel guards."
"Yes sir."
Novikov followed the Commandant quickly then asked his next question. "So how many men are we taking to the Catacombs?"

Kovalenko never ceased in his stride as he continued the conversation down the hall. They were nearing the station tunnel, where other officers and guards waited.
"I'll be bringing only the best for this mission. Which means five SS commandos, and you, Captain Novikov," he answered flatly, and looked to him briefly, "Bring a few of your own men if you'd like."
The two finally reached Tverskaya's edge. Multiple soldiers were standing guard, and all snapped to attention as the two officers approached. The Commandant saluted back and paced over to an old radio intercom by the gateway, with a wide-eyed man attending it. the Commandant waved him off and assumed a demeaning tone and expression. Picking up the mic, he spoke. The message would echo through the entire station.
"Attention! People of the glorious Fourth Reich. Our influence is yet again being threatened by our treacherous and lower-born foes... the Red Line!"
Many soldier's expressions turned grim and some grumbled in disturbance.
"The treacherous Reds are mounting an assault on Tverskaya right as we speak! They plan to end all that we possess and ruin this hard-earned ground with unworthy steps. They spat on the Reich and on the Fuhrer himself! So, will we let them do this? Huh, will we?"
A loud and rough response came throughout the station, "NOOO!"
"Then let us fight back this menace and put it back in it's place! This will soon be yet another victory for our Fuhrer! For the glorious Reich! A feat to add to dozens as we achieve domination! Glory to the Reich!"
SLAVA! SLAVA! SLAVA!
"To battle stations men! We go to war and to glory!" All soldiers nearly jumped as they heard this and bustled to and fro, grabbing shotguns, AK's and loading rounds into flamethrowers and machine guns. They would guard this station to the end... and a fight would surely come. Viktor turned to the Captain Novikov and beckoned him, "Get your gear and whatever men you'll be bringing. Meet me at the mushroom farms. There's a downward entrannce into the Catacombs from there."
The Commandant nodded to him shortly.
