Sonya looked from one person to another, darting back and forth. She started to recognize them, she had met them, briefly, at the previous station. She used the back of her spare hand to wipe blood from her chin and quickly glanced at it and back to them before wiping it onto her already blood stained cloak. "I'll gladly accept some water but no one will be 'taking a look' at me." Sonya glared at them. "I won't stab you but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could go and fetch my stuff." She lowered he knife, but kept it in hand just in case any of them tried anything. "If you're looking for an alternate way to the station I think I could show you a way around, for a price."

Michael handed the canteen to the woman while thinking about the offer she just made. An alternate route seems like the only way to reach VDNCh at the moment, but the question is: If there is an death bringing corrosive gas cloud in the main tunnel, is it an good idea to go trough the service tunnels?
He sat down and opened his Backpack "Before we talk about the price, can you garantee us that this alternative route is save?" asked Michael while checking his equipment for damage. "Also, has someone seen where the trader wen't after the crash? I'm slowly getting worried about the fact that he probably is still in the cloud."

Alexi was still watching the tunnel. Hearing the conversation behind him, he stood.
"Well, here's a price. I go into that cloud of shit and grab your things. You guide us through this rout." He said as he turned to her and sat down."Something is wrong, very, very wrong down here. I don't know about you, but I'm going to find out what. Besides, the merchant is down there in Exhibition."
He looked at all of them, then back to the cloud. He didn't want to, but if it would mean safe passage, then he would. "Well, what do you say? Is it a deal?" He asked.

Vassili feels weak, the gas was one bad challenge, he'd love to help and find the woman's bag, but he knows that entering that could again might impair him or worse, kill him. "I don't know for you guys but I'm not going back there, I'll stay here and wait with the others. If any emergency happens while you're inside that stuff, call us with anything you can use." He then opens his backpack and starts looking for one of the most precious medical supply, from a small cardoard box, the young medic pulls out a rack of strange plastic needles with a crystal clear liquid sealed inside. "those are eye drops, if anyone wants to get inside that corrosive shit again, he should cure and protect his eyes."

Now, Sonya isn't easily amused, especially by other people, but this was one exception, "Safe?! Are you kidding me? Is it ever safe in the Metro?". Shaking her head she continued, "No, it's not safe, but it's much safer than that way," she gestured towards that gas.
"It's a deal" Sonya nodded to the other man, "I'm sure it can't be hard to find."
(OOC: I'll be gone for two weeks as stated in another thread. I'm not sure if it would work if you continue without me, but if you find a way, feel free.)

Alexi grinned a little at the off hand comment, "I'd feel safer with a squad of Spartans with me." He said as he replaced the filters in his mask.
"Okay, but I want you to put it in doctor." He said, pointing to the syringe. He sat down and tilted his head back so the doc could work,

"Safe is always relative," Michael grabbed the wooden stock of his Kalaschnikov "as long as the alternative path isn't as death bringin as this one I would call it 'safe'" he leaned the rifle and his discolored backpack against the clean concrete tunnel wall.
He took his old service pistol out of the brown leather holster that was attached to his black belt. As Michael slowly pulled the sled halfway back he turned towards Alexi "If something goes wrong while your in there" he nodded in the direction of the cloud "and you notice that you are drifitng away, getting dizzy or losing conciousness just make yourself noticeable, I will try to get you out of the cloud if this happens."
In the moody light of the tunnel Michael couldn't make out any damage at the pistol, the chamber was empty so he pulled the sled all the way back until he heard an soft metallic click. He leaned against the cold tunnel wall and gave the slide release of the p8 an gentle push.

"Alright then, all you gotta do is keep your eyes open, two drops in each eye." He approaches the stalker and breaks the sealed beak of one of the medicine. From that angle, Vassili can constate the damage of the recent chemical attack. What was supposed to be white is now red around the iris and fades into a pinkish colour near the eyelids which are still wet from protective tears. He then share his thoughts with Alexi, "I'm not going to lie, it won't be a waste. They are still very irritated, once the drops are on your eyes, close amd roll them on every direction, it will help to spread the liquid where it's needed." As the treatment is given, the patient let's a small groan of discomfort, without losing his focus, Vassili apologies. "Sorry, I forgot to add that it might sting a little."

Alexi holds still till the doctor lets go, the he closes them and lets the liquid spread itself. He blinks a few times, then stands up. "Thank you, they feel better now." He tells the man as he turns to the dark tunnel before him.
Alexi removed the pack from his shoulders, then took off his helmet as well. "I'm going to travel as light as possible." He told them as he fitted his gas mask over his face. "Well, wish me luck." He yelled as he charged into the cloud.
The gas was as thick as ever, he could barely see a few feet in front of him. Everything in the tunnel was quiet as he ran towards the cart. When he reached the wrecked and rotted thing, he turned back and stayed on the side they'd found the girl collapsed.
He would've ran past her bag had he not tripped and fell over it. He turned back, grabbed it and her rifle, then pushed up and charged for the exit. He could feel his filter clogging up, his breathing getting heavier, with one last push, he burst through the cloud and ripped his mask from him as he took in fresh air.

Sonya jumped up from where she was silently sitting and waiting as the man they called Alexi emerged from the cloud of dangerous gas. In an instant she was over to the man and snatching the bag out of his hands. She glared at him for a few seconds before muttering a thank you.
As she headed off back the way they had came she swung the bag over her shoulders, but kept her gun at the ready. She shouted back over her shoulder, "Come on! If we don't hurry the gas will drift into the other tunnels."
She still felt a bit light headed from the lack of oxygen, but she was well enough to walk at a faster than usual pace.

Vassili didn't believe in faith, however, as he saw Alexi coming back, worse than the first exposition to the gas but alive, a warm feeling spread through his body adverse to the chilling brisk that roams in every hostile tunnel. Somewhere in his heart remained what he thought was a childish thinking, the possibility of a protection against impossible odds. Something that would push people forward to conceive bit by bit a goal that defies logic. An objective initiated by destiny. The medic watched the woman quickly grabbing her stuff from the rescuer's hands and told the whole crew to withdraw before the cloud spreads, he nodded. "There is nothing else for us, we can just hope forward is more clement. hang your masks around your necks if you can, we need to take it faster, just in case." Following Sonya's steps which were faster than before, even though it wasn't reasonable since everyone still felt light headed, Vassili prayed for the first time in many years, please may the station be safer than here.

Alexi glared back as he took a swig of water and pulled his own things back on. He stood and looked at the others. "Well, I suppose we do as the lady says." he said, and quickly took off at a jog. He caught up to her and settled into a steady pace.
He pulled out his Bastard gun and another flare, which he prepared to light on the side of the wall.

Michael holstered his pistol, put on his backpack and grabbed his rifle. He started walking and slowly catched up to the group.
Before he reached them Michael turned around and looked into the gas cloud, unsure if Argrim was dead or somehow made it out alive Michael did sign the cross with his free hand and then jogged the last few meters over the clean tunnel floor to the other people.

Alexei was sitting on a crate at the station platform. Other men from the caravan were playing cards and drinking. How long had they been stuck in here? A week? Or more? This was supposed to be an easy trip, going to VNDKh by the orange line and then back to Venice with tea and news. "I was supposed to be back in a few days..." Alexei thought.
The station wasn't in the best condition after the Dark One attacks. The population was halved during that time and now it has slowly started to recover. Many were scarred for life because of the Dark Ones' psychic abilities. People were poor, their tea business had been massively damaged and only the richest could afford it, as was noticed by the caravan when they could only get one crate of tea to Venice, with the amount of bullets that before would have been enough to fill a railcar. And now that damn gas in the tunnel...
Back in Venice Alexei had been given a mission to not only get the tea to its destination safely, but also to get information on why its so hard to get tea nowadays. Alexei accepted, left Venice and joined a caravan at Kitay-Gorod. The journey went quickly and without trouble, expect for Alexeis problems to get through Prospekt Mir but a handful of bullets can do miracles. Alexeyevskaya was almost depopulated and someone warned them about gas in the tunnels but they kept moving. The gas leak in the tunnel wasn't that big yet and with gas masks the caravan got through almost unharmed. But when they were leaving VNDKh with their tea they heard an explosion from the tunnel, and the hermetic doors were sealed to keep the gas from killing everyone at the station, leaving Alexei and the others stuck for who knows how long.
Alexei saw the men sent to investigate the gas leak return. They were dragging something, no, someone. A trader! Alexei stood up. The trader looked dead, but Alexei was sure he couldn't have gotten that far alone. Which meant that there were people near, maybe coming his way right now, who could help him!
((OOC: I'm just going to let Alexei assume that the trader is dead, unless Soulthief comes back. Also should be said that people at VNDKh had sealed maintenance tunnels too to keep the gas away as well as possble and no one was allowed to leave the station, expect for the investigation team, for the same reason))

Alexi struck the flare against the rough wall, lighting the area with a dull red glow. He walked forward, keeping pace with the girl, lighting the path for them both. "You know, most people aren't so cold when someone retrieves their valuables for them. If we must travel together, it makes sense that we aren't wary of each other." He said as they walked. He pulled out his canteen, taking a swig of the water inside, then offered it to the girl as a peace offering. "I am Alexi, and you?" He asked neutrally as he watched the tunnel ahead of them.
