Name: Yana Tosyaevna Belyakova
Birthplace: Venice, Moscow Metro, two years after the war
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Faction affinity (if any) and faction relations: Polis Ranger, as such her alignment with other groupings with the exception of Bandits/outlaws, Satanist and Worm cannibals is dependent on the current state politics in Polis. However it should be noted that she clearly dislikes the Fourth Reich, but that does not become an issue with her Ranger duties as most of the time Nazis are an enemy to Polis. She holds a sense of respect for the soldiers of the Red Line given their orderly ways, but her loyalty is strictly held to the Rangers and the Kshatriya order.
Physical description: Pale with grayish blue eyes, with fiery red hair that is kept neatly cropped short. She has a tall and petite build but one would never know as she keeps herself hidden away under a green cloak-like rain coat. Her main attire consist of the previously mention coat and the basic uniform and body armor of a freshly minted ranger. Height 5’9” (1.8m) weight 130 (59 kg).
Personality: Practical and thorough, given the harden resolved of a combat veteran through her ordeal of becoming part of the Kshatriya. She has a clear sense of what is right and wrong, her moral compass set firmly on the role of the white knight. She is a law bringer and strives to be a peace maker, however will leave a trail of corpse if she has no other option or she is ordered to do by her superiors in the rangers. Her loyalty to the order is unwavering.
History: Yana was born the daughter of a boss of a particularly vicious band of tunnel bandits, the group having a base of operations in Venice. Her mother was a caravanner that had been captured then claimed as the bandit leader’s woman. At the time of her conception Yana would have been considered a product of rape, she was the second oldest of four. But for most of her childhood she was oblivious (as children are). To her, her mother was feverishly in love with her father, who must at her young age thought was a part of the stations leadership. But as she grew her fairy tail ideal began to crumble, and began to see what her family really was. What was worse her father began to show her and her brothers the family business as he put it. Her elder and younger brothers reveled in their father’s lessons but she followed on much less enthralled with the so called education. Over time it became clear that her father had chosen her to be his heir, valuing her understanding of strategy and discipline over the bluntness of her brothers.
Whishing not to become a monster like she saw her father she began slowly making contact with the Rangers of Polis feeding them information on her father’s organization. Finally the time came and an ambush was set for her father but the plan did not go as expected and somehow her father, brothers and a small hand full of other bandits escaped. But the damage had been done, her father’s raiders would never again be the menace they once were. She and her mother where taken to Polis, the whole trip her mother was in tears and claiming that the young teen had killed her father. However that would not be so for after just a few days in the station she and her mother where visited by the man. He had come seeking vengeance on the snitch, but when he found out it was his own daughter he stood stunned. Yana bayed her father to turn himself in but he refused and ran off into the tunnels never to be seen again; as for her mother she would die in the months to come, taking her own life. In the end Yana would join the Rangers, and after five years of countless trials, challenges and training she became a full member of the order.
Preferred weapon(s): Valve with basic scope, Nagant M1895 and Heavy automatic shotgun.
Notes: No wanting to be affiliated with her father she has taken her mother's surname.
