So for a few years now, I've been planning out a comic. I've tried several times to draw pages, but I've never been satisfied with the quality, so I'm still trying to work on improving my drawing quality and style. Besides that, though, I have been working on creating characters and planning the story. However, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some of the writing for the comic since, based on what I've seen, lots of you guys on this forum are fantastic writers.

Well, it's an apocalyptic (not post-apocalyptic) story about numerous cataclysmic events gradually destroying Earth, and the various people who try to figure out what's going on. The apocalyptic events are a story element alongside a way to examine humanity. Each character represents a different mindset, and each is faced with a different internal conflict. The main overarching theme of the story is the question of whether humanity deserves to live or not, and whether existence itself holds any meaning or not.
This is actually where my RP character, Sid, came from. Like I said, each character generally represents a certain type of mindset, and she represents the mindset which believes that absolutely nothing has meaning. She's someone who's experienced the absolute worst that humanity has to offer, then finally says, "fuck it all," not caring whether she lives or dies. But she's just one character of many.

So do you need help with the story itself or ideas or what? What have you got so far?

I could definitely use some help with some of the story, since I'm not sure how certain parts should play out. What I really need, though, is someone who is good at writing.

Well, just saying, I shouldn't be your first choice.

I've never written for a comic. It seems pretty different.

I'd like to help but I am a beginner in writing in general, and a real noob in english. But i guess the real storytelling is behind the characters. the reader won't see all the description given by the writer. Only dialogues, it's the pen of the artist that can draw the reflection of the character's emotions and background. I could tell the difference recently by reading the Walking Dead comics and one of the novels, the fall of the Governor. There was so much background given in the novel, while in the comic, the governor was just shown as an evil dude with some thoughts in his head we couldn't guess. Don't know if you follow me, it's kinda late and I just got home from my evening training.

At the moment I'm still doing random drawings of it and planning it. I've been considering setting it aside for a while and coming up with a simpler story. It's not that I've given up on the comic (And I don't plan to), but I think my ides for it are a bit too ambitious, and I might not be ready to do it just yet.

start with small stories, that way you will get experiences with scaling and how much details you can put in a comic strip. try to create small scenarios or even comedies and show them to people and you will get feedbacks.
