Does anyone here remember an old browser game called Pandemic 2? That's where Plague Inc. took inspiration from. That I do! But it was a rather primitive game compared to Plague Inc. I remember Madagascar shutting down its only port would ruin your chances at winning. In fact, the first thing I looked for in Plague Inc was if Madagascar still only had one port.

Well, it's nice to see Pandemic's concept expanded on, seeing as it's a really neat one. And yeah, seriously, fuck Madagascar. I'd be destroying the rest of the world, and Madagascar's just chilling there like:

FYI, both Pandemic and Plague originally were not intended to be released as games. They took inspiration from a real program used to calculate various epidemic situations. The original simulator is a whooole lot more complicated and works with very precise data and variables.
Concerning Ebola: jesus christ, ebola started in afrika and only very few people outside of Africa are infected. The HIV virus started in Africa years ago and is a huge pandemic, but even in western nations peiple refuse to wear a fucking condom. I don't get people. Yeah, ebola is a problem and a challenge, but nothing we couldn't work on. The high lethality of Ebola is just depending on the statistics - and of course our modern health system is much better prepared to treat such diseases than an african hospital, which has electricity and "clear" water at best. Look at the Ebola map. Only the poor regions are affected by this and as I said, veeeery few people outside of these regions.
don't pussy out about this.

I like how this thread did a ZSG derailment but tharina cracked her whip and pulled the thread back on the tracks.
