Name: Nikolai "Nick" Pevtrenko
Birthplace: Moscow
Age: 24
Gender: M
Faction affinity (if any) and faction relations: Member of the Rangers, a faction with strong ties to Polis, and somewhat feared by the communists, Nazis, and Bandit groups.
Physical description: 5' 8" Brown hair kept cut, green eyes, a body full of battle scars and a dirty taggered face for one so young. Equipped with Ranger Armor and Helmet equipped with headlamp and nightvision, Heavy hiking backpack, MOLLE vest with magazines and ammo holders for all his weapons.
Personality: Nick travels alot, goes where he needs to go, mostly friendly to strangers but never really spends much time talking to people in stations along the way. As any Ranger, he helps people he finds in trouble and assists in any way he can. As most Rangers are trained, he is stone cold and calm in combat and he is one of the more creative people when it comes to stalemate solutions.
History: Nick was about 3 when the bombs fell, and the rush to getting underground was one of the few things he remembered of the time.
His family took refuge in a station the inhabitants renamed NSPS (New Saint Petersburg Station), a station off one of the northern arms of the ring line. When he was 18 he started doing regular work escorting caravans and traveling groups across the metro. But one day a trip to a station north of Polis was interuppted by a bandit attack, the caravan's crew were holding them off with ease, until explosives came into play, and the handcar was derailed. He was knocked unconsious. When Nick came to, he saw his friends get executed and looted by the bandits.
He woke up again several hours later to find out that all his gear was taken, and came to the conclusion that he was thought to be dead. He tried to get up and walk, but fell down and noticed two rounds had been placed in his abdomen.
There he was found by a squad of traveling Rangers who took him to Polis where he recieved medical treatment and managed a full recovery. When he tried to find a way back to his home station, a new found war between the Communist and neo-Nazi factions prevented any return to NSPS. He worked two more years running caravans to Hanza stations and back to Polis, but tired of the same old song and dance he looked up a Ranger waystation in Polis and joined up.
After his training he served valiently for the Rangers in their many campaigns helping those in the Metro, and other missions to secure help for their own intrests such as supplies and the means to aquire their vast network of transport vehicles.
Preferred weapon(s): AK-74, Duplet, TT-30
Notes: If Nick is in the area of any characters in need of help, he will give assistance no strings attached.
