How about a good map with a little more information? Duno... like known service and manteinance sub-stations of the real metro net or pc game fiction places, and some stalking references (surface notable places like Ostankino Tower).
For example; there is a small reference on the second book about the real civilian bunker at Taganskaja (It seems to be a secret Hanza station), but the Stalin Secret bunker (also real, at Partisanskaja, under the FOP Izmailovlinked Soccer stadium) is like gone.
Another disturbing thing about the net is the "Mar`yina Roscha - Kurskaya" line. Game map shows it as destroyed, but book maps shows it ok. So; its accesible or not? Its a very interesting line because it provides great strategic stations since "Tsvetnoy Bulvar" and "Trubnaya" stations are actually linked by an underground tunnel. "Mar`yina Roscha" station is interesting for stalking too. There is a military museum just by side with lot of military junk (including an armored train/tank).
I know it is a huge task, but a good map should have references to police stations, hospitals and things like that arround any metro station. At least the most important ones if there is any located close to a station.
Just post your reference or information and I'll update the map I'm doing. It will take time, I'm using the real metro set to provide distances between stations and crossing line points.

It's a nice suggestion, Pavel. Sadly, my site appears to have died. Most of the members we had joined for a little while before vanishing altogether... Sorry

Dont worry Joe. Im sure the release of "Last light" will make a lot of new Metro fans, just give the peole some time. I follow the evolution of the fan production of new storys and stuff about the Metro proyect and I can tell you its growing. It just need to have more marketing to reach more people. A matter of time. Anyway, I´ll stay working on the map. At the time it gets nice and clear I´ll post it. I get to this site by searching accurate maps, so its not dumb to think that a new map could bring a few more ones here, the ones who read the books and get lost with the strange names of the stations and the confusing legends and anotations of the book´s maps.
Till that moment, fare there well Joe.
